Academic Scholarships

Awarded to pupils of outstanding intellectual ability who demonstrate sustained academic distinction, intellectual curiosity, independence of thought, and a disciplined commitment to scholarship. Academic Scholars are expected not only to thrive within our rigorous academic environment, but also inspire their peers, and lead by example through both achievement and character.

Sports Scholarships

Awarded to pupils competing at National Level who demonstrate exceptional athletic ability, dedication to training, strong team spirit, and a competitive edge. Scholars are expected to show the discipline required to balance elite sporting performance with academic ambition, contributing meaningfully to the School’s sporting culture and

Visual & Performing Arts Scholarships

Awarded to pupils of exceptional creative promise across the visual and performing arts, including Design & Technology. Candidates demonstrate distinctive artistic or design talent, supported by a strong portfolio, alongside a clear commitment to the development of their discipline. Scholars are expected to show originality, artistic vision, and dedication, enriching the cultural life of the School through performance, exhibition, and creative leadership.

Diversity Scholarships

Awarded to pupils whose backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences will enrich the cultural and international character of the School. These scholarships recognise young people who will contribute meaningfully to our full boarding community. All Scholars are expected to maintain strong academic standards, reflected in consistently positive teacher judgements and attitudes to learning, and to uphold the School’s values at all times.


Award Value

  • Scholarships typically range from 10% to 50% of tuition fees
  • In exceptional cases, higher awards may be approved
  • Awards apply to school fees only unless expressly stated
  • Scholarships are awarded for one academic and are subject to annual review

How to Apply

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must:

  • Complete the admissions process
  • Receive an offer of admission
  • Confirm enrolment and deposit the admission and caution fees

Once enrolled, the scholarship process includes:

  • Submission of scholarship application
  • Submission of supporting documentation
  • Assessments, interviews, and/or trials (as applicable)
  • Review by the Scholarship Committee
  • Formal written notification of outcome

Should the award not enable enrolment, the enrollment and caution fee will be fully refunded.

All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final.
